WELCOME to ADOPT
ADOPT
ADOPT is a registered
trust working for the UPLIFTMENT OF VILLAGES. ADOPT was
registered on 6th May 2000. ADOPT started by
building a small Medical Center in village Chharba for emergency
and immediate medical facilities for the villagers. Regular Medical
Camps are held at the center for the benefit of the local villagers.
The trust is dedicated to the upliftment of villages by taking more and
more opportunities to the villagers. These opportunities and facilities
will give these villagers a chance to improve the quality of their life.
ADOPT has dedicated itself to see to the improvement of
Health, Education, Women Empowerment, Adolescent Girls & Child
Development, Drinking Water, Sanitation, Environment, Art & Culture
of the area.

ADOPT
has constructed more than 650 toilets with bathing space in
the villages in Western part of Dehradun
district, under Project SUVIDHA sponsored by
Rotary International, Rotary Richland and Rotary Club
of Delhi South End, Ministry of Social Welfare, Govt.

mother brought him to our Heart Check Up Camp in June 2005
and was diagnosed to have Complex Congenital Heart Disease.
He went through Extra Cardiac Fontan Surgery on 28th March
2006

ADOPT has started Vocational Training Institute where youth of the villages are trained and guided. ADOPT has been able to make around 150 odd students computer literate. |
ADOPT has built Bio Gas plants thereby saving the environment as well as the health of the women. ADOPT has opted for a design which is very simple and easy to maintain. |
